Amenities & Services

One of Javier’s cherished memories is from a time when he was a young man growing up in Geneva, New York. He worked a summer job at the Seneca Army Depot. On his daily commute he would travel Route 96A. Turning onto Yale Station Road, he would slow down to admire the majestic beauty of this historic home. This feeling stayed with him throughout his life.

A few years ago Javier and Bianca began to ponder the development of a bed and breakfast. A bed and breakfast would offer the opportunity to devote more time to their love of art, crafts, gardening, cooking and entertaining. (Not to mention the never ending home repair projects.)

It must have been fate when Bianca discovered that the home that was part of Javier’s youthful admiration was available! After much contemplation they purchased the house and closed on February 14th, 2011. Quite the Valentine’s Day gift!

They worked every weekend, traveling from Rochester for over 2 years. Renovating, adding bedrooms and private bathrooms, landscaping, decorating and collecting furnishings. Bianca’s parents Bob and Barb were instrumental with the renovations, providing their expertise in carpentry, painting, plastering and official breakfast “taste-testers."
