Welcome to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Both the November and December Deck the Halls Weekends are completely sold out.

Attention Deck the Halls Attendees: Our new 2015 member winery, Bagley's Poplar Ridge Vineyards (located between Standing Stone Vineyards and Wagner Vineyards on the east/right side of the lake), will be offering samples of wine and food pairings to all ticketed attendees over the next two Deck the Halls Weekend events!

While our Deck the Halls events are sold out, our neighboring Trail still has a limited numbers of tickets left for their similar event this year. This event will also likely sell out, so if you are interested in attending, it is best that you contact the Cayuga WineTrail directly in the very near future: Holiday Shipping Spree, December 5-7, more information here.

Weather Update: As of Friday 11/21/14 while we did receive a dusting of snow overnight, and some mixed showers are called for Saturday afternoon, the roads are fine here and our upcoming November Deck the Halls Weekend event will be taking place regardless.

New 2015 Winery Members
While their official membership does not begin until 2015, Bagley's Poplar Ridge Vineyards and, under new ownership, Castel Grisch Winery have both been welcomed back aboard the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and will be participating in various programs towards the end of this year, and throughout 2015 and beyond. As is the case with all our member wineries, these new members are committed to crafting quality wine using grapes harvested in the region, creatively and passionately reflecting the terroir.

Trail Associates
We realize your main reason for visiting our site is most likely to find information about our member wineries, but also know that most visitors to our region will be seeking other businesses like restaurantslodging, transportation providers, breweries/distilleries/cideries, and other attractions. You can patronize any of these regional businesses confident that they are doing their utmost to help you have a fun, safe and enjoyable time in the Finger Lakes Region.  To view a handy map that shows all of those businesses and our member wineries at once, click here.

Large Group Tours
We are frequently asked about setting up a tour of our member wineries by large groups. Each winery has its own individual policies. Some wineries require appointments for groups of 8 or more people, others don't require an appointment unless the group exceeds 16 people, for example. In some instances tasting fees are the same between a large group and an individual, in other cases they are different. Please click here for more information on bringing a large group to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, and feel free to call our office during regular business hours with any additional questions.
