Throughout the year, member wineries come together to bring you special ticketed events and offer passport programs. These require tickets and passports which can be pre-purchased via our online shopping cart or by phone using toll-free at 877-536-2717 and we'll place the order online for you. Packaging for 2009! We've continued to put it all together for you, tickets, lodging and transportation for two, so you just come out and enjoy your special event weekends. Click here to learn more.
PLEASE REMEMBER, EVENT TICKETS & PASSPORTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Special Events - Starting Wineries: To avoid overcrowding and make the events more enjoyable for everyone, we assign a mandatory starting point for many of our ticketed events (excluding our passport porgrams and A Golden Nose Award). You may select your preference for a starting winery when you purchase your tickets online; the wineries with tickets remaining as starting points will show on the form. Please start at the assigned winery then proceed at your own pace and in the direction most convenient for you and your party. This helps to keep traffic flowing smoothly around the lake, minimizing delays. This is also where youll pick up your gift item and have your first food and wine pairing. (Each participating winery is given a limited quantity of gift items based upon the starting winery points.) This may also introduce you to a winery you may have never stopped at before! Event participants are not required to taste at a winery to get your favors or food associated with any of our events. Groups: It is recommended that groups of up to 23 people should place all ticket orders on the same order to ensure they will receive the same starting point. Groups of 24 or more will be accepted only if routed by the Seneca Lake Wine Trail office. We reserve the right to limit the number of large groups and motor coaches purchasing tickets to our events, to 4. If you are interested in bookng a large group, please contact Glenda Stermer-Simpson at 877-536-2717 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Passports: A passport is a very simple document that for a small fee (usually between $10-12), enables an individual to enjoy a free flight of wines at each of the participating wineries listed in the booklet (normal tasting fees at the wineries range from $1-4 per winery). How it works: buy the passport and visit any of the participating wineries and enjoy their wine! At each winery make sure they stamp or mark the appropriate space in your passport. Also take advantage of the opportunities from our accommodations and other businesses listed in this passport. It is that simple. **THEY ARE NOT INTENDED FOR LARGE GROUPS. Tasting fees may apply if you are traveling in groups. To learn more about group sizes and tasting fees at individual wineries click here. Each passport program is a little different so go to their individual web pages to learn more about them. 2009 Event Dates 7/9/08 EBLAST: We have just recently pinned down our 2009 event roster and identified dates for these events. For those that attended Deck the Halls last year, you may recall that those events were stretched into 3 day events by most participating wineries. Wineries and customers alike responded positively to this move, therefore we have opted to have all wineries, for all weekend wine and food pairing events, run the event during the following hours: Friday, 1pm - 5pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5 pm*. Dates for all our events are as follows:
